Why This Matters:

“We are incredibly proud to bring Sacramento Ballet’s training to the Davis community,” says Jorge Laico, School Director of Sacramento Ballet. “This partnership with Davis Arts Center allows us to reach more young dancers at the beginning of their artistic journey and offer them the same exceptional instruction we provide in Sacramento. It’s about nurturing talent and making the arts accessible to all.”

Artistic/Executive Director Anthony Krutzkamp adds, “Expanding to Davis aligns perfectly with our mission to connect and inspire through dance. As we conclude our triumphant 70th anniversary season, we’re not only reflecting on our legacy but also building toward an even more inclusive and dynamic future for dance education in the region.”

This expansion reflects Sacramento Ballet’s commitment to accessibility and arts education throughout the region. By offering high-quality, professional instruction close to home, Sacramento Ballet empowers more young people to engage in dance—whether recreationally or with professional aspirations. The Davis satellite school continues the organization’s mission to nurture future artists in a supportive, enriching environment.
